Is there any other choice? From the New York Post:
DJ Daniel, the 13-year-old brain cancer survivor honored by President Trump during his speech to a joint session of Congress this week, had some strong words for Democrats critical of Trump.
“Please stop being mean to President Trump because if I see you being mean to him, I’m coming after you,” Daniel said on Steve Bannon’s “War Room,” in an interview with co-host Natalie Winters shared to X on Wednesday night.
As the interview concluded, the teen noted he had “one more thing” to add, before telling cameras point blank: “If you’re a Democrat and you’re being mean to President Trump — I’m on your bumper.”
Happy Women’s History Month from the Democratic Party!
From NBC News:
Senate Democrats voted unanimously to block a Republican-led bill Monday evening that would prohibit federally funded schools from allowing transgender athletes from participating in women's sports.
In a party-line vote of 51-45, Democrats filibustered the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, introduced by Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala. It fell short of the 60 votes needed to advance as Democrats dismissed it as a distraction and a cynical political move.

New Data on Illegal Border Crossings
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released data showing a significant drop in illegal border crossings in February, reflecting the impact of President Trump’s immigration policies. Townhall reported that Trump announced on Truth Social that just 8,326 illegal immigrants were apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border, a stark contrast to the 300,000 monthly crossings under President Biden. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem highlighted that CBP encountered only 200 illegal aliens in a single day—the lowest in 15 years.
Via Townhall:
“President Trump and Secretary Noem have sent a clear message to illegal aliens: do not come to our country. You will not be allowed in. And if you get in, we will hunt you down and deport you,” a statement from a senior DHS spokesperson said. “That message has been received. This weekend, we saw the single lowest apprehensions at the southern border in more than 15 years. This is yet another sign that President Trump’s commonsense immigration and border security policies are working.”
Officials credit Trump’s policies for the decline, asserting that the message has been received by would-be migrants. The data underscores a sharp policy shift from the previous administration, reinforcing Trump’s commitment to strict border enforcement.

GOP Congressmen Launch Judicial Task Force
Republican Representatives Andrew Clyde (GA) and Eli Crane (AZ) recently launched a judicial task force to combat "judicial activism" and target "rogue, activist judges" obstructing President Trump’s agenda, according to Just the News. Announced on March 3, the initiative aims to unite members of Congress in exposing and impeaching judges perceived as overreaching. Fox News reported that Rep. Clyde is drafting impeachment articles against Judge John McConnell, who oversees a Trump lawsuit.
More from Fox News:
Clyde said he encourages other members of Congress to join the task force who "are passionate about ending abusive judicial overreach, upholding the separation of powers, and defending the U.S. Constitution," saying they "look forward to delivering accountability for the American people."
Crane, who announced he was drafting impeachment articles against U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer, told Fox News Digital in a statement that, in recent years, "leftists weaponized the judicial branch."
The Arizona Republican said, "If these activist judges want to be politicians, they should resign and run for public office."
The task force responds to over 90 lawsuits challenging Trump’s executive orders, aiming to uphold constitutional separation of powers.
Your 5 to 9 Routine Before Your 9 to 5 Job
The "5 to 9 Before 9 to 5" trend, popular on social media, encourages a four-hour morning self-care routine starting at 5 a.m. before work, aiming to boost productivity and well-being. Self-care?!?! Here am I doing a second and third job from 3 to 6 before my 9 to 5! 🤣
Psychologist Ramone Ford, PhD, explained, “The premise… is easy to explain but, for many people, hard to actually do.” While it may enhance mood and focus for some, Ford warns, “We need the restorative benefits of a good night’s sleep,” noting sleep loss can harm health. The trend’s rigidity may not suit everyone, especially those with chronic conditions or night owl tendencies. Ford suggests flexibility, stating, “Adopting healthy habits is easiest when you adapt the strategy to fit your needs.” Alternatives like a 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. routine or shorter self-care periods can still provide balance, making the trend adaptable rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.
Among the activities in the 5 to 9 routine:
Cooking and eating a healthy breakfast
Exercising or practicing intentional movement
Meditating or engaging in a spiritual practice
Reading or journaling
Spending time with a loved one
Accomplishing important tasks
Enjoying hobbies
Studying or working on a side hustle
Ok, I guess my side hustles are considered self-care after all!
Dinner and a Movie
Our movie this week is the Gen X romantic classic, Singles. It’s a walk down memory lane when dating didn’t involve the internet or apps. Just the usual anxieties like waiting for the phone to ring.
I’ll be celebrating that I’m no longer single by making two of my guy’s favorite things so he has food while I’m out of town for the next week — chili with flank steak and banana bread.
