Your BRIGHT Mother's Day Gift Guide
Unique Ideas for Supportive, Stylish, or Hard to Shop For Moms!
Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 12! Here are some gift ideas to celebrate the moms in your life.
For Moms Who Love Dolly
Hint: This is all moms. Lodge Cast Iron has a cute line dedicated to icon Dolly Parton. Whether she displays it or cooks with it, she’ll love this Made in America piece.
For Moms Cheering You On
A great way to thank mom for always being on the sidelines to cheer you on in life and on the field is with gear from the Mother’s Day Collection from XX XY Athletics, the first athletic company to stand up for women’s sports. I’m a big fan of the Fearless Fleece Zip — soft and the perfect length so it’s not overwhelming and still feminine. I have the black and gray and plan to add terra cotta soon. Also checkout XX XY Athletics founder Jennifer Sey’s book, Levi's Unbuttoned: The Woke Mob Took My Job but Gave Me My Voice.
For Stylish Moms
Kate Spade Daily Tote — perfect for carrying all the mom necessities like wallet, phone, keys, cough drops, used and unused Kleenex, hand sanitizer, Cheerios, Tylenol, spare Barbie shoes, expired permission slips, and snacks. All the essentials. At over 60% off retail, mom will also appreciate the deal.
Kate Spade Pajamas — A lot of fun patterns and styles!
Lululemon New Parent Backpack — A slightly more stylish version of the diaper bag. It includes lots of pockets, a pouch, and a changing pad. It also has a sleeve so it can fit on the back of your luggage. You know, for all the new mom traveling she’ll be doing. (Can you tell I’m not a parent?) But seriously, that it looks like a normal bag makes it a good investment for post-diaper days.
For Moms Who Need Some Self-Care
Weighted Heating Pad for Neck and Shoulders — Moms are experts at heating pads! It’s the mom version of dad’s advice to “rub some dirt on it.”
Jesus Calling for Moms — Books are great for moms who need some time to relax and get lost in something other than a to-do list. Other recent favorites are Levi's Unbuttoned: The Woke Mob Took My Job but Gave Me My Voice, The Blue Zones Secrets for Living Longer: Lessons From the Healthiest Places on Earth, The King of Late Night, The Magnificent Lives of Marjorie Post, and The Writing Desk.
Organic Castor Oil Roller with Rose Quartz — You can’t get away from hearing about the benefits of castor oil. This is a good entry-level product because it’s easy to use and pretty.
Good Molecules Daily Essentials — A great kit of products to give mom an extra boost to her skincare routine. On the higher end is the Sunday Riley Go to Bed With Me Complete Anti-Aging Night Routine. To make your mom blush because of the name is worth the price.
For Hard to Shop For Moms
Furever Paintings — I’ve featured this company before because it’s so unique and fun. Moms love an activity and this is one she can do with her pets! It’s fun to experiment with different colors and unleash a dog or cat’s inner Picasso.
Candle Warmer — This is another gift I tend to feature often. Mom has probably received plenty of candles over the years. Rather than lighting candles, I prefer using a warmer to worry less and use candles more.
Signed Cookbooks from Joanna Gaines — I’m less than an hour from the Magnolia compound and can confirm moms of all ages love Joanna. Magnolia.com has signed copies of two of Joanna’s cookbooks available and they aren’t even that much over the Amazon price!
Keksi’s Mother’s Day Box — For the mom who prefers a bouquet of sweets over a bouquet of flowers, these over the top cookies are made in Texas and come in a beautiful Mother’s Day box. They say to order by May 5 to ensure delivery by Mother’s Day. Flavors include Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Coconut, Chocolate Caramel Turtle Pecan, Blueberry Lemon, Cherry Garcia, and Horchata.
Etsy for Unique and Personalized Gifts — I love perusing Etsy, just be sure contact seller if unsure about it arriving in time.
What a great picture -- and wonderfully thoughtful suggestions. Thanks, Lisa!
