Violent Rioters Rejoice! Harris Picks Walz for Running Mate!
Vice President Kamala Harris named Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate for the 2024 presidential election. Fox News reported that Harris highlighted Walz’s dedication to middle-class families, noting his background and legislative accomplishments, including infrastructure investments, tax cuts, and progressive policies on abortion and gun control. Harris praised Walz’s family commitment and partnership potential, expecting their ticket to benefit in key Midwestern states. She also called him “Coach.”
Many Americans may remember that Governor Walz gained national prominence in 2020 for letting Minneapolis burn during the George Floyd riots and setting up a program to allow people to snitch on their neighbors during COVID.

Vice President Kamala Harris named Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate for the 2024 presidential election. Walz, a former teacher, coach, and National Guard member, is in his second term as governor. Harris highlighted Walz's dedication to middle-class families, noting his background and legislative accomplishments, including infrastructure investments, tax cuts, and progressive policies on abortion and gun control. Harris praised Walz's family commitment and partnership potential, expecting their ticket to benefit in key Midwestern states. Walz's selection follows Harris clinching the Democratic nomination after President Biden ended his re-election campaign.
At the time, Walz argued that calling up the National Guard to enforce order would only incite further rioting, and suggested that protesters needed the space to express their outrage.
'I want to just be clear there's philosophically an argument to be made that an armed presence on the ground in the midst of where we just had a police killing is seen as a catalyst,' he said during a press conference.
After the third night of rioting, where a police precinct was set on fire, Walz admitted they had failed to properly respond to the violence.
I wonder what Democratic primary voters think about BLM and pro-Palestine protestors having more influence on the Democratic ticket than they do?
