Trump Tears Into Putin and Biden Over Bloodshed

Fox News reported that President Trump expressed frustration with Vladimir Putin after Russia’s missile attacks on Kyiv, writing on Truth Social, “There was no reason for Putin to be shooting missiles into civilian areas.” Trump questioned Putin’s intentions, stating, “It makes me think that maybe he doesn’t want to stop the war, he’s just tapping me along.” Pleading for peace, Trump urged, “Vladimir, STOP! 5,000 soldiers a week are dying.”

In the post, Trump also blamed his predecessors: “This is Sleepy Joe Biden’s War, not mine,” and saying he is “just trying to clean up the mess that was left to me by Obama and Biden.”

Trump also met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Rome. The Hill reported that Zelensky posted, “Good meeting. We discussed a lot one on one. Hoping for results on everything we covered. Protecting lives of our people. Full and unconditional ceasefire. Reliable and lasting peace that will prevent another war from breaking out. Very symbolic meeting that has potential to become historic, if we achieve joint results.”
