Trump Pleads Not Guilty, Greets Fans
Yesterday, former President Trump pled not guilty to 37 counts of alleged mishandling of classified documents stored at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. It was reported that the judge did not put any restrictions on his release, so he is free to continue to discuss his case.
Just the News reported:
Cameras were reportedly banned from the courtroom for the arraignment.
Alina Habba, one of former President Trump's lawyers said the targeted “prosecution of a leading political opponent is the type of thing you see in dictatorships like Cuba and Venezuela.”
”It is commonplace there for rival candidates to be prosecuted, persecuted, and put into jail,” she said on Tuesday.
While in Miami, he made a stop at the famous Cuban restaurant, Versailles. He was greeted by supporters who took photos with him and sang "Happy Birthday" ahead of his 77th birthday. He briefly chatted with individuals, including Florida State Sen. Ileana Garcia and former UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal, before leaving the restaurant.
Miami’s NBC news station said, “Versailles began as a small coffee shop in 1971 but quickly became a social, cultural and political hot spot in Miami, as well as a required stop for high-profile politicians who visit the city.”
Love him or hate him, he’s still got it.
