Trump Completing Cabinet in Record Time

Fox News reported the Republican-led Senate has been rapidly confirming President Trump’s Cabinet nominees, approving 18 out of 22 positions faster than previous administrations. Former Sen. Kelly Loeffler was the latest confirmed as SBA chief. Trump’s pace surpasses Biden’s and Obama’s early confirmations. Another big win last week was Kash Patel being confirmed as FBI director. Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso said, “Americans voted for a bold, new direction in Washington. Senate Republicans are delivering it.”

Remaining cabinet nominees include Lori Chavez-DeRemer, Linda McMahon, Jamieson Greer, and Elise Stefanik, awaiting confirmation.

Cabinet members are also wasting no time on the job. Fox News reported that Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed she has the Jeffrey Epstein client list and is reviewing it along with JFK and MLK assassination files under Trump’s directive. Trump signed an executive order to declassify these documents early in his second term. The FBI recently uncovered thousands of undisclosed JFK records.

Likewise, RedState reported that FBI Director Kash Patel hit the ground running:

He ordered 1,500 staff and agents to be transferred from its Washington, DC, headquarters to various locations across the nation. Some 1,000 agents and staff will be reassigned to cities the Trump administration has designated higher crime locations where they can fight crime rather than engage in political shenanigans. Another 500 staff will be reassigned to Huntsville, Alabama, which is the DC equivalent of exile to Siberia.

RedState highlighted that during his confirmation hearing Patel noted, “A third of the workforce for the FBI works in Washington, D.C. I am fully committed to having that workforce go out into the interior of the country, where I live west of the Mississippi, and work with sheriff’s departments and local officers.”
