The Pennsylvania Stealers

At PJ Media, Matt Margolis wrote about recent allegations of election misconduct in Pennsylvania’s Senate race. Democrat Bob Casey is trailing by over 20,000 votes and has not conceded to Republican David McCormick. Margolis accuses Casey and lawyer Marc Elias of using recounts and questionable tactics to overturn the result. Specifically, Bucks County commissioners allegedly ignored legal counsel and a Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling by voting to count 124 improperly signed ballots, an action critics claim violates state law. Philadelphia officials are also reportedly counting undated mail-in ballots, prompting legal challenges from Republicans.

Margolis concluded:

Of course, we know the playbook. Counting illegal votes isn't going to flip the results; it's the discovery of new ballots we have to worry about. History provides chilling examples of how Democrats have flipped elections thanks to mystery boxes of ballots being discovered that miraculously help the Democrat overcome their deficit and pull off a victory. Two key examples are the 2005 Washington gubernatorial race and the infamous 2008 Senate race in Minnesota—both marred by razor-thin margins and controversial vote discoveries that flipped the results.
