The New Soros: ‘A Loyal Parasite’

David Strom at Hot Air writes that Alex Soros, heir to George Soros’ political network, is a superficial and ineffectual figure that happens to wield immense influence through his father’s money. The younger Soros even calls himself “a loyal parasite.” Strom mocks his lavish lifestyle, social media presence, and photo ops with top Democrats, framing him as emblematic of the Democratic Party’s elite detachment. Strom highlights that Soros believes Democrats lost political ground not because of their policies but because they failed to convincingly lie about President Biden's mental fitness.

Soros is one of the chief funders--along with USAID, of course--of all the most powerful left-wing NGOs, so when he was asked about whether the Democratic Party has lurched too far left he scoffed at the notion.

Rather, he said, it was the Democrats' abandonment of Biden after he revealed himself to be a vegetable that was the problem.

Strom concludes that Soros’ financial clout distorts Democratic priorities, fosters unhealthy dependence, and accelerates the party’s decline by prioritizing power over substance.

When asked about leaders who inspire him, The Daily Mail reported:

'Who do I draw inspiration from when I listen to them speak? Josh Shapiro is great. AOC is great. You know, Raphael Warnock is great. You know, Gretchen Whitmer is great. I mean, I like Tim Walz. Chris Murphy. Brian Schatz. Like, these guys are great,' he said.

As Al Pacino as Jimmy Hoffa said in The Irishman, “If there's one person you can't trust in this life, it's millionaires’ kids.” (I’m sure even more so for billionaires’ kids.)
