Democrats are blaming President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas for their 2024 election loss, citing their handling of immigration as a key factor. Townhall reported that a recent report by BluePrint2024 found Trump’s tough-on-immigration stance swayed swing voters, with 52% choosing him over Harris. Many decided late, citing Democrats’ focus on identity politics and prioritizing illegal immigrants over citizens. Critics within the party called Biden’s lifting of Title 42 and halting of Trump-era border policies political missteps, leading to a surge of asylum seekers. Some senators labeled the pro-immigration agenda “political malpractice,” pointing to poor planning and execution on border issues.

Perhaps most painfully, only 22% of swing voters who chose Trump believed Harris prioritizes “Americans like me” versus party activists—a stark contrast with the 80% who said Trump prioritizes “Americans like me” over party activists. Furthermore, 75% of swing voters who broke for Trump say it is either “extremely accurate” or “very accurate” that Democrats are “too focused on fighting Trump rather than bringing the country together.”

Another tidbit of infighting amongst Democrats is that George Clooney is “furious with Obama” for using him as a “patsy.” More via Breitbart:

“George is furious with Obama for disappearing after the election disaster and leaving him holding the bag for pushing the plan with his Hollywood pals,” an unnamed entertainment industry source told Radaronline.

Another unnamed source said: “George feels duped and vows he’s not going to be anyone’s political water boy anymore.”

“Lots of celebrities, like Beyoncé, were on the campaign trail pumping up Kamala, but George became the face of the Hollywood liberals by directly calling for Biden to end his campaign and throwing the whole process into chaos.”

“He thinks Obama should come forward and say that George did the right thing and it isn’t his fault that it didn’t work out,” the source continued. “But he doesn’t expect that will be forthcoming. and it’s left George feeling like a patsy.”
