Good News for Trump in Classified Docs Case
Fox News reported that Federal Judge Aileen Cannon of the Southern District of Florida denied Special Counsel Jack Smith and Department of Justice's request for sealed filings in the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump. She also struck two filings from the record and asked for more information regarding Smith’s use of an out-of-state grand jury for investigating the case. The case is scheduled for trial in May 2024.
