Fox News reported the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk has galvanized young people, with supporters predicting the group will grow stronger. In an emotional livestream, his widow Erika Kirk vowed, “To everyone listening tonight across America, the movement my husband built will not die. It won't. I refuse to let that happen. No one will ever forget my husband's name. And I will make sure of it. It will become stronger. Bolder. Louder and greater than ever. My husband's mission will not end. Not even for a moment.”

Many believe she may take over leadership of TPUSA, which oversees more than 2,000 student and 800 faith-based groups. Former activists, including Arizona State University’s Judah Waxelbaum, said the tragedy likely “awoke a sleeping giant.” Memorials have been held nationwide, including in Manhattan.

From the New York Post:

The crowd broke into “Amazing Grace,” a video posted on X showed, as the candles glowed against the Manhattan skyline.

The memorial was one of several across New York and part of a wave of remembrance nationwide following Kirk’s assassination.

A celebration of life is scheduled next Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Arizona.

TPUSA posted information on continuing support for their organization and the Kirk family:

I Didn't Know Charlie Kirk

When news of the assassination of Charlie broke, I began to hear from friends and acquaintances, all younger and all outside of politics. Did I know him? Did I ever meet him? What happened with security? People I didn't even know were conservative or politically-inclined told me that they liked him and followed him on social media.
